This solar overcharge protector circuit will allow you to use a battery in line between your fan kit and your solar panel so your fan can safely run through part of the night or while shaded. This unit will tell you when your battery is fully charged, charging, or if wires are reversed/shorted. It will cut off current from the solar panel to the battery once the battery is fully charged to avoid any dangerous situations with overcharging. Will work great to use in-line with our (a splitter cable would be necessary to run multiple fans).
Please check both the solar panel and fan current/wattage capacities and requirements to determine the best battery size for your application. Rated to work with up to 100 watts input. Solar input connector is a standard 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel connector and fan output is a standard 2510 3pin fan connector. The battery is not included, but this will fit any 12vDC battery with a standard male spade terminal (6mm x 0.8mm or similar).
