The DX denotes this a bracket with a hole cut out to place the controller, otherwise, it is identical to the non-DX model

This particular *kit is for a single fan unit meant to cool your cabinet, multimedia center, aquarium, home grow op, brewing project or whatever else that may need cooling, the only limit is your imagination!
This fan can move 46 cubic feet (WxHxD) of air per minute (CFM) which is good for 1-2 components (up to 10 cubic feet of space with 1 shelf), this is just a general rule of thumb and it assumes you have adequate space for air to flow in from, and ventilation between shelving, we're currently working on an in-depth guide to airflow and cooling however in the meantime if you have questions we're here to

Can be mounted on any side of a cabinet, where room permits (cutout dimensions below). Insert completed cooler assembly in a hole and attach with appropriate screws. The fan can be set to be either an intake or exhaust, simply mount the fan to the bracket pointing in the desired direction before installing (if you are looking at the label the air will flow towards you)

The fan has a 30" (760mm) long cord if you need to extend this length we have


This controller comes with a 32" long waterproof probe, place where you'd like to monitor the temperature, when the temperature reaches the temperature you have programmed as the "On" setting the fan and anything else plugged into the unit will be activated until the temperature falls below the programmed "Off" setting.
It natively supports up to 4 3pin connections (12v only) but can handle more with the  (maximum 3A).
Comes with our  so you can mount the display if you'd like.

Temperatures above are (+/- 1° F) / Programmable range of 40F (4C) to 145F (63C) / LED display can be toggled on/off

All necessary screws, cables, and fasteners are included to assemble, install and operate this unit.

If you'd like to add additional brackets and fans to this kit you can find them , non-thermal controlled kits only have enough ports for the fans which come with it, the standard thermal controlled and programmable controllers have 4 native ports, if you need more ports for fans we have adapters
